My name is Jonathan. I am a Motion Designer & Visual Artist.

At 23 I began studying 3D Animation and VFX, graduating with a focus on Concept Art & Animation. I completed an internship at The Magnificent Itch in Surrey Hills, Sydney.​

​

During this period, I took up guitar teaching. Designing colourful visual communication tailored to the student's interests was the best method of retention, rather than wordy explanations.

​

Endeavours as a Musician, Bandmate, and Composer provides me with hands-on experience across the entire production spectrum. Storytelling, Rhythm, Pacing, and Sound Design fortified my confidence and I was hired as an in-house Video Editor for a Christian Organisation, eventually going freelance under the banner of Motion Graphics.

As a Visual Artist, I challenged myself to move away from digital to traditional mediums such as Charcoal and Oils, where there is no undo

 

 My Instagram @Jonnaur_ became a platform for exhibiting works to a target audience. Maintaining that feed of content has attracted commissions and Technical Illustration work published for research.
